The Diplomatic Academy, in partnership with Qatar University, concluded the Political Analysis Program, which lasted for 5 days during the period from May 26 to 30, 2024. The program was presented by Professor Dr. Makki meeting with qualitative participation from the State of Qatar, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Iraq. The program dealt with building knowledge foundations for the trainees, which provide the ability and competence to analyze political events, reveal their details and implications, and interpret the political behavior of political leaders, governments and groups outside countries, as well as the opportunity to anticipate developments of events, which contributes to the preparation for confronting them by those concerned. He also introduced the students to theoretical information supported by evidence and examples about analyzing the course of events, as well as assigning the students multiple duties and tasks for the purpose of building the foundations of the political analyst in them, and helping them follow the news with a different vision and from angles that were perhaps hidden to many of them. It enables participants to have the ability to analyze the dimensions of events, their potential repercussions, and the interrelationships between them, as well as to identify important events or developments that must be followed up, from among the wide range of daily events in the world. At the conclusion of the program, the trainees receive a certificate of attendance from the Diplomatic Academy and Qatar University.
