The Diplomatic Academy concludes the “Diplomatic Etiquette” program in Kuwait At the conclusion of the activities of the “Diplomatic Modern Etiquette” program, the Diplomatic Academy completed the implementation of the Diplomatic Modern Etiquette program for employees of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, whose training continued for five days in the period from 3 to 7 December 2023. This program was implemented in partnership between the Diplomatic Academy and in partnership with the Al-Amouh Training Center. Al-Ahly is organized and supervised by the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs The program was presented by Counselor Rashid Al-Hajri, an international expert in international and diplomatic protocol. The program included enhancing the participants’ skills in a wide range of diplomatic methods related to the etiquette of official and diplomatic speech. This program comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to develop and enhance the skills and competencies of employees in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kuwaiti diplomatic corps, and to enhance a deep understanding of diplomacy skills, including speaking skills. Participants were trained on a comprehensive set of diplomatic skills related to modern etiquette, as the program included practical applications of topics such as the importance of modern etiquette, in addition to managing speech and its importance in diplomacy. Issues related to listening skills and the use of appropriate body language were also highlighted, in addition to how to choose the appropriate words and develop speaking skills in various contexts, whether in professional or social matters, and even communicating with the media and the public. At the conclusion of the program, the trainees were handed their graduation certificates from the program, accredited by the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute, the Diplomatic Academy, and the Tamouh Center for Private Training in the State of Kuwait.
